This also very much depends on your laptop if it's crap, you can probably only play downloaded (ripped) 3d movies in sbs format. Does that answer your question? CAN'T PLAY- Nvidia native 3d output (probably not, I believe this requires HDMI)- 3d blurays (though you probably dont have a bluray player anyway in your laptop, so this is irrelevant. if you purchase third party 3D drivers from - these replace your nvidia drivers (assuming you have a decent laptop with descrete graphics card), and allow you to output in a variety of formats suitable for your projector. Simply load them up in VLC, play fullscreen, and send to the projector (assuming your projector supports SBS - you may need to set this format on your projector options). So what content can you play?CAN PLAY:- Downloaded 3d movies in SBS format (these are typically pirated from blurays). Now I'm not sure about your porjector specifcally, but this is how my 3DTV works. The only benefit to sending atual 3d formatted video frames is that your TV/projector will automatically switch to 3d mode. You don't NEED to output "HDMI 3D" format if you projector can understand side-by-side. ![]() Depending on the required format of your projector (side by side, or interlaced) interlaced, there is some content you can play. This is a complicated answer, but I'll try my best.
